Creepy or Too Many Zombie Games

My work has most of its workers on 4 10 hour shifts. Since I am the only IT person at this site, I don't get Fridays off. This is a big manufacturing plant and on Fridays the machines are all turned off; hell half of the lights are off in the plant/warehouse area. Lately I have been playing Left4Dead and Resident Evil 5. So every time I go out into this big open factory, I just get creeped out. There are hardly any sounds and normally you have to wear ear protection if you are out there for extended periods. Half the place is dark. Every once in awhile you see someone moving in the distance. I keep looking for my shotgun and the flood of zombies that is going to come running at me at any second.

I think I should lay off the video games some but that isn't likely to happen.

Tomorrow, I am going to Oklahoma City. I plan to buy some Warhammer models, probably some Necrons from Warhammer 40K (the girlfriend thinks I should make them because she likes the way they look, I do too so...). The other thing I want to do while there is stop by the Natural History Museum in Norman. I will take my camera and bring back pictures for here. I really enjoy the place and at 5 dollars a person there is no reason not to go there.

I had that trouble with Eternal Darkness. I was playing it by myself while the hubby was gone for the week, and ended up, on the first night, sleeping with all the lights on and the shotgun close at hand.

Look at this way- you will be well prepared for the coming Zombie Apocalypse.

You have a shotgun, COOL. (oh I am so Canadian it makes my American side wants to shoot itself)

I'm a slightly paranoid type, I don't like being home alone with the blinds open.

Have you seen this?

I had not seen that yet, Frodo. Derren Brown is a true evil genius.

I would love to meet the guy. I am sure I would be freaked out but it would be fun. I can sometimes see what he is doing but there is a lot of misdirection going on. I am very fond of his work, if you couldn't tell by my deconversion story.
